Purple Heart Kamagata

I made this custom piece for my wife, who likes small knives, thick handles and the colour purple.

The kamagata is a great design for small chopping boards, small to medium vegetables and herbs, so perfect for small daily salads.

Purple heart is a fantastically vibrant hardwood and in this wa handle, it is contrasted with a steel wire wrap.

The knife has been affectionately dubbed "Chop-chop" and lives happily in our kitchen.
